Hello, my name is Robert Homan. I’m an aspiring web developer that has a passion for building websites. I graduated with my associate's degree in Business Information Management with a concentration on website development as well as a certificate in website development at SUNY Broome. I’m currently majoring in Informatics at SUNY Albany to achieve my bachelor's degree. I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Binghamton Humane Society to modify and improve their website through an internship.
Where do I see myself in a few years? I’ve been working through online resources and school work to develop my front-end skills. I want to gain employment as a junior developer and work my way up the ladder, building my knowledge of front-end and mastering all of it's finer details. In a few years I see myself working as a lead front-end engineer.
I’m very passionate about what I do and I want to continue that passion. I’m looking for employment with a team that shares my passion. When one problem is solved we move on to the next. I don’t see my dream as a one stop destination. I believe you should continue learning even after you have gained years of experience. That’s the beauty of web development, you are constantly learning new things!
